A community-rooted South African NGO creating safe, creative spaces where children can develop to their full potential.
Local knowledge. Everyday presence.
Net vir Pret works with children in Barrydale, the Overberg and surrounding farms. Its after-school, weekend and holiday programmes combine learning, creativity, movement and belonging.
The partnership began in 2003, when EDSA raised funds for Net vir Pret’s first after-school club. EDSA later helped fund its dedicated centre and continues to support its development and sustainability.

Past EDSA partnerships include ASSET’s Saturday schools and bursaries, the SAMLA community mobile library, Students in Action, Celebrating Diversity and school-twinning projects. Today Net vir Pret is the charity’s principal focus.
